The Hawkins Oil Festival is an annual event that celebrates the town's history in the oil industry. The festival features a variety of family-friendly activities, including food vendors, games, and live entertainment. Visitors can also learn about the town's oil heritage at the Hawkins Chamber of Commerce. The festival attracts visitors from all over the state and is a great opportunity to learn about the town's rich history.

The parade will begin Saturday morning October 4 th at 11 am. The Oil Festival Parade will be held rain or shine. The only exception will be the case of lightning in the area.

Important Vendor Details

​

Setup begins at 7:00 a.m. Saturday.  If you have trailers or large booths, you can set up on Friday between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.  However, there is no overnight security.  We do not furnish tables, chairs, or tents/pop-ups.  Space is limited.  Festival runs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Electric hook-ups are also limited. All requests are handled on a first come basis, but priority will be given to those who participated in the last Hawkins Oil Festival. For all returning vendors who would like to request their same booth location as the year before, must have their vendor application and payment in no later than Friday, September 19, 2025 midnight.
